Enjoy Irish Culture ezine, September 2013 issue
September 01, 2013
Dear subscribers,

thanks for subscribing to the Enjoy Irish Culture e-zine and welcome. This is our September edition filling you in on some news over the last month.

We have started running our first competition, and if you have travelled around Ireland this summer and taken some nice holiday pictures you might want to join in!

We have added a mixed bag of heritage pages this month, such as pages on Moore Hall in County Mayo including tourist information and the history of this amazing place that used to be home to the first ever president of an Irish Republic as far back as 1798.

Have you heard of Craggaunowen? This amazing outdoor heritage museum is well worth a visit with the whole family. It brings you right back through Irish history with a medieval castle and the Brendan voyage boat on site, and further back to a time of crannogs, ring and stone forts.

We have started an exciting series on ancient weaponry used in Ireland in the past. See the what the Irish fought with against the Normans here!

So much for the tasters this month. There will be many more pages to come this coming autumn and winter as we have been busy getting around this summer! In the meantime, we wish you a happy start back to a regular autumn and winter schedule.

Come visit us often and learn something new about Irish culture each time. Slán and see you again soon.

Regards, Colm and Susanna
